A traditional hearty pancake!
Add 1 cup Buckwheat Buttermilk pancake mix to a medium mixing bowl.
Melt 1 tablespoon of butter and let cool.
Add 1 beaten egg and melted butter to dry pancake mix.
Slowly mix in 1/2 cup milk. More or less till desired consistency.
We recommend more if you're making waffles.
Let batter sit for 5 minutes or more to hydrate. If batter becomes to thick add 1 tablespoon of water.
Measure out 1/4 cup of wet mix at a time into a medium heated, lightly greased pan or girddle.
Flip after edges start to become golden brown, cooking an additional 1-2 minutes.
